Kalifornia Jean Bar was founded in 2005 when Christy and Mike Hall decided that Reno needed a little bit of LA. Christy, who grew up splitting her time between LA and Gardnerville spent as much time on a horse as she did browsing the racks at I. Magnin. Ever since her hands were big enough to hold scissors and cut images from Vogue and Bazzar, Christy has been curating collections blending comfort and style. Mike is 100% Reno born and raised and grew up spending every free moment fishing, hiking, and skiing.
